A Legacy of Craft & Tradition
Iruttu Kadai, meaning dark shop, operates by candlelight just as it did over a century ago. The halwa is made from wheat extract, pure ghee and jaggery in a 6-hour process that has never changed. Murugesan is the fourth generation to carry this tradition.
